Our Association is a chapter of the National Association of Benefits Insurance Professionals (NABIP), which has over 20,000 members nationwide. The role of NABIP-MD is to help our members with regard to professional education and standards, to monitor and participate in Legislative affairs that affect our business and more importantly our clients, and to do all that we can to make sure that our clients continue to have access to the maximum amount of quality and choices when it comes to insurance for the health care needs of themselves and their families.

I have been a member of NABIP and NABIP-MD for over 30 years, and perhaps over 35 years of my 42 yrs. associated with the insurance industry. This professional association, at both the state and federal levels, has served as the purveyor of what it means to be a true professional in the health insurance business (through ethical guidelines and education), and with the association’s lobbying efforts, the protector of our livelihoods as brokers and agents, as well as protector to our clients who would fair far less well without our guidance and work on their behalf. Working on behalf of NABIP-MD serving on committees and the Board over the years, has been fulfilling and led to many lifelong professional friends. I highly recommend being involved!
